1. Institutional Framework

Welcome to Instructorium. The platform operates as an independent institutional entity, under the sole ownership and direction of Tamim Iqbal.

By using this website, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. You agree not to misuse our services, submit false information, or engage in activities that violate these provisions. Engagement with this platform constitutes formal acceptance of these institutional protocols. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

Regulatory Compliance

All users are required to operate within the legal frameworks and regulations applicable to professional education and digital conduct.

Intellectual Property & Institutional Assets

All academic materials, curriculums, course videos, lecture notes, code examples, and digital assets are the exclusive intellectual property of Instructorium and our instructors. Unauthorized redistribution, commercialization, or duplication is strictly prohibited. Ownership of deliverables produced for a studio services client is instead governed by Section 3 below.

Jurisdiction

These provisions are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be resolved within the appropriate legal channels of this jurisdiction.

2. Course Enrollment

Eligibility & Prerequisites

Course enrollment is available to individuals aged 18+ with internet access and a compatible learning device. Some courses may have prerequisite skill requirements clearly stated during enrollment.

Payment & Billing

• Course fees are charged in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and processed via authorized payment gateways (bKash, DGePay).
• Invoices and receipts are automatically sent to registered email addresses.
• Bank details and payment methods are encrypted and never stored on our servers for security compliance.

Refund Policy

After the 7-day window, refunds are not available. This policy applies to all course types unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Access Duration

Upon payment, you receive lifetime access to purchased course materials. This access may be revoked only in cases of:

• Violation of platform terms of service
• Engagement in fraudulent activities
• Intellectual property infringement
• Harassment or misconduct against instructors or other learners

3. Studio Service Engagements

Scope & Quotations

Studio services (enterprise development, growth & performance marketing, brand & UI/UX design, and content engineering) are available to businesses and individuals separately from course enrollment. Every engagement begins with a written quotation covering scope, deliverables and price. Work begins only after that quotation is approved; anything outside the approved scope is treated as a change request and quoted separately.

Invoicing & Payment

Project-based work is billed against agreed milestones; retainers and dedicated-team engagements are billed on a recurring cycle. Invoices are issued per the approved quotation and are payable by the due date stated on the invoice.

Ownership of Deliverables

Upon full payment, ownership of the custom deliverables built specifically for a client (code, designs, content and other project-specific assets) transfers to that client. Instructorium retains ownership of its own pre-existing tools, frameworks, components and internal libraries reused across engagements, and of the studio's general knowledge and techniques.

Cancellations & Refunds

The 7-day course refund guarantee in Section 2 does not apply to studio services. Because project work is scoped and often begins immediately after approval, cancellation terms and any applicable refund for work not yet delivered are set out in the specific quotation or agreement for that engagement.

Confidentiality

Project briefs, business information and files a client shares with us are used only to scope and deliver that engagement, and are not disclosed to third parties except where necessary to deliver the work (e.g. a subcontracted specialist) or where required by law. A separate NDA is available on request before any confidential materials are shared.

4. Platform Usage Requirements

Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• Share login credentials or course access with unauthorized individuals
• Record, screenshot, or redistribute course videos and materials
• Attempt to reverse-engineer platform code or security systems
• Post spam, malware, or offensive content in community forums
• Engage in automated scraping or data extraction
• Impersonate instructors or platform administrators

Certificate Validity

Certificates of completion are issued upon 100% course progress and passing any mandatory assessments. Certificates verify that you have engaged with course material under your registered account. They are non-transferable and void if obtained fraudulently.

5. Liability Limitations

Educational Outcomes: We make reasonable efforts to deliver high-quality instruction. However, Instructorium does not guarantee employment outcomes, salary increases, or freelance client acquisition. Success depends on individual effort, market conditions, and external factors beyond our control.

Website Availability: While we maintain robust infrastructure, we do not guarantee uninterrupted platform access. Scheduled maintenance and unforeseen technical issues may temporarily restrict access. Appropriate advance notice will be provided when possible.

Limitation of Liability: In no event shall Instructorium, its owners, instructors, or employees be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use, content access, or service interruption.

6. Amendment & Termination

Instructorium reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued platform engagement following notification constitutes acceptance of updated provisions. We reserve the right to terminate accounts engaged in policy violation.

7. Data Privacy & Security

Data Collection & Storage

We collect personal information (name, email, payment details) for enrollment, course delivery, and communication purposes, and — for studio clients — project briefs, business details and files needed to scope and deliver a service engagement. This information is protected using industry-standard encryption and security protocols.

Payment Information Security

Bank details, card information, and payment method data are never stored on our servers. All transactions are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways (bKash, DGePay). You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Data Retention & Deletion

We maintain enrollment and transaction records for regulatory compliance and course access verification. Upon account deletion request, personal data will be purged within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Third-Party Services

Our platform integrates with SendPulse for email communications and authorized payment processors. These providers operate under separate privacy agreements. We do not sell or share your data with unauthorized third parties.
